ObCidian

Black obsidian from a rhyolite flow in Harney County, Oregon. Pivoting mount on a base of marble countertop scrap.  The rhyolite was flowing slowly before the obsidian cooled, producing the faint layering of lighter colored volcanic glass in this piece.
