Shell fragment from a large andesite volcanic bomb from Harney County, base of serpentine boulder from Curry County.  The fissured red surface of this volcanic bomb results from freezing and cracking of the surface of a large blob of magma thrown into the air from an erupting volcano.  The shape of this piece was beautiful, but a challenge to mount, but in this orientation it says salmon to me.
