Sunset Silhouette
Rhyolite from Harney County, pivot mount on a broken quartzite river boulder from Union County. When I found this piece in the ditch. It immediately made me think of a waterbird in silhouette, illuminated by the fading sun. I preserved the shape, only polishing and brushing some faces.
