Bedload Attraction

StoneSculpture made of chert and sandstone cobbles collected from the Rogue RIver in Oregon.
Height 10 "

Fluvial geomorphologists, who study the behavior of rivers and how they transport sediment, refer to a phenomenon of bedload traction, the collective force that moves gravel downstream on the bed of a river.  These two cobbles have come together.
